former loss angeles police officer. he shot to officers in riverside overnight. killing one of them. he then shot a another officer who was in,. police believe that these police shootings are linked to christopher jordandorener, a former lapd officer wanted in connection to the double murder of a couple in irvine. over the weekend that couple was shot and killed in their car. the woman killed was the daughter of a former police officer who represent dorner at a hearing where he alternately lost his badge. these police officers and their families are now under police protection. we have a

picture of if dorne. authorities said that he wrote a multi page manifesto in which he threatened to kill law enforcement officials and implicated himself in the irvine murders. >> police are blocking off intersections and they stated that they do not think he is in the area but the search is still on for him. >> we have breaking news from the east bay. three people have been shot in an overnight home invasion robbery. kron 4 urs will tran joins us live from vallejo with more. >> the adult male came downstairs after he heard a commotion and they stated that he was shot in the

face. there were two female family members who were also shot. all three of them are currently in the hospital would not life-threatening injuries. the two suspects fled on foot and they're still trying to find them. they're still waiting from the surge once a that would be able to collect evidence. they do believe that this is a random break-in. >> is this what the police is calling this a home invasion? >> at this point they're calling it a home invasion and they are not stating that this is that robbery where they took it a thing. they stated that they hope to talk to the people who are in a hospital so that they can tell them what is going on. this point

sexual assault involving children. in 1981 he was arrested in a fisherman's area for kidnapping and lewd acts on a child. he bailed out, then he was a no show at his court date. in 1982 he was arrested on that outstanding warrant, then he pleaded guilty to felony lou tax on a child. he was sentenced to six months in jail and three years' probation. >> therrien was also wanted in canada for a crime in 1973. police said they he kidnapped and sexually assaulting two children. if he was arrested and charged, but once he was released, he fled canada. if police say he was never caught because, in part, he used so many different names. >> send francisco's chief

identification blow into a former los angeles police officer suspected of killing spree has been found in san diego near the airport. this is to authorities are looking for right now. his name is christopher dorner , he is a former los angeles police officer. officials say he shot at to lapd officers and the city of kron up grazing one that ambushed two police officers and nearby riverside, killing one and critically wounding the other. for his suspected of killing a couple in orange county on sunday. he admitted killing the couple over the weekend as revenge. the woman he killed is the daughter of a former officer in attorney who defended dorner in a case that got him kicked off of the police force. >> there is the picture of dorner a party say he wrote a multi page manifesto in which he threatened to kill officers and implemented

in the kevin collins case. severance as the police are asking for the public's help in finding additional information about dan therrien. he was first identified as a suspect in 1984. disappearance of kevin collins. he has a history kidnapping and sexual assault involving children. in 1981 he was arrested and the fisherman's wharf area for kidnapping and lewd acts on a child. he bailed out of it was a no show at his court date. in 1982 he was arrested on the outstanding warrant and then pleaded guilty to felony lewd acts on the child. he was sentenced to six months in jail and three years' probation. >> a federal official during the press got as for the boeing 787 stated the

a.m. the lapd badge and id old belonging to christopher dorner was found by a citizen near the airport and turned over to police. at 5:40 a.m. riverside police confirming one officer was killed in that earlier shooting. the search for dorner has extended to las vegas where he also has a home. >> we continue to monitor is slow ride in the east bay on both the nimitz and interstate 580. hot spots for sure although we have seen a big improvement here in the northbound 80 drive time. normally it is 22 minutes from san leandro and to oakland. it is currently at 26. a lot of the red has just been replaced with yellow on the map. 580 is still slow to recover. there

is an incident on 13 northbound that backed up traffic on to the connector due to a downed tree. those incidents are not clear. there was an accident on the upper deck seat near san francisco that started to slow the ride once again on the incline section of the bay bridge. the 14 minute commute was turned into a 20 minute commute in the last 15 minutes. unctad approach is now backed up over the toll plaza. before that incident occurred, there was no back up from 880 at all. speeds are in proving as you can see. they have spent the cycling of the metering lights. the traffic is clearing on the incline section said the 20 minute drive time should start to dry. the salmon sale bridge was a hot spot but is no more. conditions are finally back to normal. the san francisco golden gate bridge
